Even though Zaffarino had found
his forever
home, his owner never got the chance to live with him.
One morning we found him dead on the floor without any prior warning of being sick. The autopsy showed that he had eaten some foreing object and it had made a sore in his stomach. And when the sore ruptured his stomach, the acid came into contact with the rest of his organs and his abdomen became infected. A kind of infection not to be confused with FIP. And the infection killed him:-( The veterinarian estimates that it has taken 6 hours from the sore ruptured and until he died, but this is just an estimate. The only thing we know for sure is that he was playing with his siblings before we went to bed the night before and the next morning we found him dead:-( |
