Victor has had his name change
and is now
known as Felix:-) He's living with Lone and her daughter, Anna, in
Ballerup,
west of Copenhagen.
Unfortunately we have gotten the sad news, that Felix has been put to sleep on January 26th 2007, on the suspecsion of having FIP:-( We are awaiting a copy of the test that was taken and are of course very sorry that Felix only was here for such a short time:-( Unfortunately the test that was performed didn't give us the answer we were looking for:-( It turned out that it was just a test for how high his titer was and a high titer is not the same as FIP. But some vets still think that an elavated titer is the same as if the cat in question has FIP or not, even though research and experience from other countries shows that an elavated titer can be caused by other factors than FIP. |
