Savannah is now
residing in her
new home in Texas, USA.
She has been bought as a show and breeder quality cat and we hope that her new owners will get s lot of joy out of her, both showwise and as a sweet companion:-) Savannah is going to be one of the foundation queens in a new cattery, of Fjords, and we will look forward to follow her continuing development. Savannah has had a couple of litters at Dianes and we are both very satisfied with the kittens and their development. |
| Stoffer is now
living with Stine,
Rune and Alfheim`s Quintus near Copenhagen.
We really wanted to borrow Quintus for one of our females and Stine & Rune really wanted to have one more cat, so we made a trade! On January 08th 2009 I got the following sad message from Stine: I have said goodbye to Stoffer yesterday. Raiku run a test of his blood sugar, which was very high højt - 16,2 - but she didn't think that it was due to diabetese. Stoffer was very pale in his gums, which could indicate that he had a severe lack of blood. Her opinion was that it could be due to cancer, possibly in the thyroid which would explain the diabetese. We made the decision to have him euthanized. |

Shania is living
with Ole &
Hanne close to a town named Næstved.
A couple of years ago they came and bought two cats from us, Hexia and Itzy Bitzy, but unfortunately Hexia is no longer around. But Itzy missed having another cat there so they came and bought Shania for him. |
| Fortunately Sarabi
has come home
to live with me again and I`m so looking forward to first of all just
live
with her, but also, eventually, to see kittens from her.
She has so far had 2 litters in our cattery, J2-litter & N2-litter. Sarabi was euthanized on September 9th 2008 because the mammary cancer she had been operated for in February 2007 unfortunately returned:-( |

Shenshen was the
Benjamin in
the litter and we were very worried about her development, but she
pulled
through with flying colors and is now a well functoning kitten in the
home
of Pernille, Mogens, Niklas & Ida.
On 08.02.06 Silke was unfortunately out to sleep due to a tumor in her nasal cavity. Originally the vet thought that Silke had gotten a cold, because she was sneezing a little bit from time to time, but after an x-ray the vet thought that it was polyps instead of an cold that was irritating her nasal. They desided to operate on Silke but when the vet opened her nose, it revealed that it wasn't polyps that was in her nasal cavity but a huge tumor. The tumor had already spread so there was only one thing to do and that was to let Silke go:-( |
