Quanah was so lucky to be
chosen by Betty
Mattson to be a part of her breeding program. Betty, who lives in
Minnesota
USA, has always had a crush on her grandmother, Fie,
so
she decided to get at descendent from Fie.
Quanah was shown for the first time on July 1. and 2. and she did really well, taking a BOB in her very first show! We, along with her owners, are really excited about that. Betty`s prefix is Dorthonion were Quanah`s development can be followed. The first time Quanah was bred, she had a difficult delivery and the kittens didn't survived for long:-( After being neutered she developed a terrible anger towards the other cats in the house. Betty tried all possible ways to make it work but in the end she had to give up and let Quanah move into a pethome, because she couldn't bare the thought of Quanah spending the rest of her days in one part of the house and the other cats in another part of the house. |
| Quantana has also
gone to the
US, New Hampshire to be more accurate, were 2 females from our M-litter
is already residing. They have the same parents as Quantana so they are
basically "sisters".
Personally I couldn´t quite understand why Rita, Quantana`s owner, wanted to buy her when she has two females from the same combination already, but as Rita said: "I know what I`ll get when I buy her" and that`s a good point. Quantana has been shown and used for breeding, just like
her sisters.

homepage. Due to personal reasons Rita has had to stop breeding
NFO's and since the circumstanses has forced her to move from her
house, she also had to give up almost all of her cats. One of the cats
she had to give up was Quantana who is now living together with one of
her daugthers and sons, with a nice family not to far from where Rita
lives. |

Quake is Sondra and Brian`s
first Norwegian
Forest Cat but soon more will follow:-) He is also living in the US,
in
Colorado.
He will also be shown and used for breeding as soon as Sondra and Brian get some females. Sondra got Quake as her Valentine`s present from Brian last year. Sondra could choose between Quake or flowers and she chose Quake:-) Quake was Sandra's first NFO but she has now started to breed NFO's on her own and her prefix is Rockatts. |
| Quark is the only
kitten that
has remained in Denmark and we are grateful for that, because it is
kind
of sad when you can`t follow the development of your kittens.
He lives at an Island named Fyn in a cozy little village, Glamsbjerg. He is the spoiled cuddle cat of Marie, who is retired. Quark is no longer living:-(
