Before we even started the building of the run, there were some "details" that we needed to have sorted out. We had to find out what materials we wanted to use and buy them. We also had to rearrange some of the bushes in the garden, drill the holes for the posts, borrow various eletrical things to make the work easier and also ask friends and family members if they could help us built the run.

Michael og Anders borer hullerne
Vi havde lånt et manuelt bor af Henning og Birgit, men det viste sig hurtigt at jorden var for hård/leret til at vi kunne bruge det, så vi lejede et bor hvor man skulle være to til at holde det. Anders meldte sig næsten frivilligt til opgaven:-)
Michael & Anders are drilling the holes
We had borrowed a hand-driven drill from Henning and Birgit but
we soon found that our ground was to hard/filled with clay, so it wasn´t
possible to do it by hand. We then rented a drill for a weekend and since
there had to be two people handling the drill Anders almost "volunteered"
for the job:-)

When they had reached the bottom they had to get the earth up

And then down with the drill one more time just to make sure that all the earth was cleaned up from there

Færdig/Done
De borede huller i vores baghave til løbegården og huller foran huset, fordi vi senere skal have lavet en indhegning til Rolf der.
They drilled holes in the back of our yard, for the run, and holes in front of our house because we would like, in the future, to fench that area for Rolf.
