Kicki (Kalabreezes nickname) was a Hostcat when her breeder, Birgitte, owned her. But when Birgitte desided to stop breeding NFO's, Birgitte had to find a new home for Kicki. We were offered Kicki because Birgitte was both interested in letting Kicki be a part of a breeding program and also in giving Kicki a good home, which she felt she would have with us:-)

Kicki was bred to Arthur Gyldenløve and their kittens has been born! Kicki has proven to be a SUPERB mother. From day 1 she has been with them most of the time, without being a "nervous" mother. She has taken the motherhood completely cool and is a very loving and caring mother.

As part of the HCM project at KVL, some of our cats was asked to come and give bloodsamples and also be scaned for HCM. Kicki was one of the cats we entered the project. When she'll be scaned again is not sure, because we don't know yet if she'll be followed through the project at KVL or if she'll be scaned under the "normal" procedures we follow. More info will be added as we get it.

We plan to mate Kicki with Leo again in 2009, which will be the same combination as the Y2-litter.

Today Kicki has been mated with Leo several times so in 9 weeks there should be kittens:-)

Kicki became the mother of our F3-litter 1 week ago. Things didn't go as the normally do, more about that can be read on the litters own page.
