Galadriel was originally sold for breeding and showing. She had had a litter at her previous owner's home but for personal reasons I bought Galadriel back in November 1997.

After our vet had said she was okay, I put her in with the rest of "the pack" and it went as smoothly as could be.

Galadriel has had tre litters so fare, all with IC Tilia Nova`s Ingjalf, My M-litter, Q-litter and V-litter.

Although she was bred with Quali-Kat`s Aladin, she got a nasty pyrometra and unforunately she never became pregnant after that.

I lost Galadriel on December 1st 2004, 14 days after she had been neutered:-( Subsequencly the post mortum revealed that the anastetic had tricked a cronical bad kidney-condition that *might* have been discovered, had the vet that neutered her taken a blood and urine sample prior to neutering her.

I miss her beyond words.....

Gandalf and Gallahan live in the same home in the suburbs. They are full of spirit and have turned the house upside down. The family's two kids are happy to have two such spirited comrades in the house.  Originally the cats were intended to come and go as they pleased, and I had my doubts about how it would work out, but the years have shown me that my fear of the cats getting hurt was unfounded, luckilly. The cats never wander farther away from the home than the family can call for them and then they'll come runing home.
Geiger moved to Kia and Da Capo Dapper Gyldenløve`s house, after Da Capo had lost his best friend a very big dog, called Karelsk Bjørnehund. A lot of breeders could not understand, why I dared to sell a cat, to a place with such a big dog, but I only think that it proves how dangerous it is to have prejudice about the issue of having cats and dogs together. It went extremely well!

Da Capo and Kia simply could not stand for this little charmer (Geiger) when he moved in, and at first Geiger got away with a lot of "stunts" until everything came back to normal. Kia shows her cats on a regular basis and they are having a good time, all three of them.

As if 2 cats from me wasn`t enough, Kia fell in love with and bought Odin Gyldenløve.

Da Capo died some years ago and Odin was diagnosed with bad kidneys, but has lived 2 years with this bad diagnosis, so Kia chose to buy Washington from us, that way there will still be some one that Geiger can play with, when Odin is no longer here. Odin had a couple of month together with Washington, before he passed away.

Geiger is still going strong, but Kia has desided to buy a new kitten from us, who will be Washingtons companion when Geiger is no longer here. She has bought Erik, Washington's nephew:-)

DK Geisha Gyldenløve

Geisha was very sick as a kitten. She constantly had diarrhea, but according to the vet she could both be cured and live a happy life. Unfortunately this was not so. I tried everything and had taken "a million" tests, but apparently there was no one that could tell me what was wrong with her. As a last resort, I put her on a special diet and after two months it actually started to look promising. I had thought that maybe we had found the "miracle-cure" for our cat.

Geisha is a real snuggler- she loves to lie in my arms and be cuddled. She was always very happy and did not seem sick at all. I were hoping that the "miracle" worked because she would always have a loving home with me. I were hoping that she wouldn't have another setback since there was nothing more I could do for her but give her peace.

Unfortunately my beloved Geisha had that setback and on February 3. 1998 she had peace. She has been missed ever since.
