Already when the
breeding was
planed between Ilfrin and Canberra, I knew that I wanted to keep a male
for my breeding program.
Although only 2 kittens were born I was sure that I wanted to keep Ætling. Ætling did very well at shows and I was looking forward to the time, when I was going to use him in my breeding program. In December 2003 Ætling becamse very ill and he was diagnosed with astmatic broncitis by my vet. Despite intensive care he lost 3 kg in only 6 weeks. In January 2004 the vet and I desided that we wouldn't put Ætling through further treatment, because his situation wasn't improving and because he was showing signs of being in pain. Ætling will always be missed...... |
