DK Æblemos Gyldenløve

We have wanted to keep one more kitten from Vinja for a long time and we had kept Richard and wanted to use him in our breeding program. Unfortunaely our other males was rather rough towards him which meant that we desided to have him neutered but then we didn't have that last offspring from Vinja we really wanted to have. We then desided to keep a kitten from the Æ2-litter and already before they had been born we had talked about keeping a female this time. Vinja gave birth to 4 females out of 6 kittens which gave us a lot of kittens to chose from luckily:-) When it came down to which kitten we wanted to keep the choise was between Æbleflæsk and Æblemos. The reason why we didn't chose Æbleflæsk is due to the fact that she looks to much like her mother:-) This is in no way a negative thing but we thought that over time it might not be so handy to have a "clone" of Vinja walking around the house. And since both kittens had some outstanding qualities, in our opinion, we chose to keep Æblemos.

We plan to have Æblemos tested for the usual things before she enter our breeding program. And we have chosen Sweet to mate with her when that time comes, hopefully in 2010.
